Volunteer Fire Company
The Thompsontown Volunteer Fire Company is staffed entirely by volunteers from the community that we serve. New members are needed, and welcomed, to help us provide the critical services for our community. No experience is necessary, and all training and equipment is provided. There are a variety of opportunities to help, from those directly involved in emergency response and those providing crucial support roles. Front-line roles include firefighters and fire police who respond to incidents like fires, medical emergencies, and accidents. Additionally, support roles like fundraising, community outreach, marketing, and administrative tasks are vital for the department's overall function.
We are looking for dedicated men and women to serve in a variety of service positions within the department. We can use help with community outreach, events, marketing, social media, fund raising, bookkeeping, building maintenance, and more!
Professionally Staffed by Volunteers
Members are available at the firehouse each Thursday, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and sporadically during the day to answer any questions.
